The biggest problem for salmon farming is a small parasite

Despite its small size, this parasite has a huge impact, threatening both the health of the fish and the sustainability of the industry.

The parasite negatively impacts…

Wild salmon

The parasite significantly harms wild salmon populations by reducing their numbers, weakening the fish, and interfering with their ability to reproduce. This threat poses a serious challenge to the sustainability of wild salmon stocks.

Treatments

Many of the current treatments used to combat the parasite are harmful to the fish themselves, often leading to stress, physical damage, and reduced overall health, which can impact their growth and survival.

Farmed salmon

In farmed salmon, the parasite can cause severe health problems, including weight loss, skin lesions, and weakened immune systems, making the fish more susceptible to secondary infections.

Industry costs

The parasite inflicts enormous financial damage on the salmon industry, costing the Norwegian aquaculture sector an estimated 15 billion NOK annually due to losses in fish, expensive treatments, and reduced production efficiency.

We’re preparing to make a difference

We’re developing an innovative solution for healthier salmon and sustainable fisheries

Gentle for fish and environment

Our solution will be completely free from harmful chemicals, ensuring a safe and clean approach to combating parasites without damaging the environment or the salmon.

Highly efficient

Designed for maximum effectiveness, our product will deliver fast and reliable results, significantly reducing parasite infestations and improving fish health with minimal intervention.

Fish friendly

Gentle on salmon, our product will minimize stress and avoid the harmful side effects often caused by traditional treatments, promoting better overall well-being for the fish.

All natural

Made from 100% natural ingredients, our solution aligns with nature’s processes, offering a sustainable and eco-friendly way to protect both farmed and wild salmon.
